Tour Itinerary
Day-01: Colombo International Airport – Dambulla – Anuradhapura

Meal Plan: Dinner
Upon arrival at Colombo airport (before 08:30 AM), our staff will warmly welcome you and transfer
you to the touring vehicle. We will first visit the Ancient City of Anuradhapura a UNESCO World
Heritage site, with attractions like Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest living human-planted tree with a
documented history, Jethawanaramaya, the world's tallest stupa, Twin Ponds, Samadhi Buddha
Statue, Ruwanweli Maha Seya, Elephant Pond, and the mysterious Star Gate. An evening visit to
Dambulla Cave Temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 150 Buddha statues,
concludes the day’s activities. Check-in to hotel in Habarana for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day-02: Minneriya National Park – Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya

Our day starts with an early morning departure at 05:45 am for an exciting 4X4 Wildlife Safari in
Minneriya National Park, which boasts diverse habitats and rich faunal diversity, famous for its
annual gathering of wild elephants. After returning to the hotel for breakfast we will next proceed to
UNESCO World Heritage site of Polonnaruwa. The second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction
of Anuradhapura , which was established in 10 th century. The ruins, includes Brahminic and Buddhist
monuments. The city’s legacy encompasses King Parakramabahu’s fabulous garden-city, the Gal
Vihara Vatadage, Thivanka, and the Parakrama Samudra reservoir and the ancient Yoda Ela canal
system reveals advanced hydraulic civilization that existed. In the afternoon we will visit the iconic
UNESCO World Heritage site of Sigiriya. renowned for ancient frescoes and a palace complex. We
will return to the hotel in Habarana for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day-03: Peradeniya – Kandy

Meal Plan: Breakfast | Dinner
After an early breakfast, check out 8:00 AM departure. Our first attraction for the day is the Royal
Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, which also houses the National Herbarium. On arriving in Kandy,
we will check-in to our hotel in Kandy. We will drive along the picturesque Kandy Lake to reach the
Kandy Lake Club to witness the famous cultural show which offers a captivating glimpse into Sri
Lanka’s traditional dance forms. A brief walk from the Lake Club takes us to the Temple of the
Sacred Tooth Relic, experiencing its historical and religious significance. We will conclude the day’s
activities by enjoying scenic views at the Kandy City Viewpoint, the Arthur’s Seat unveiling a
captivating panorama of Kandy, the lake, and the Temple of the Tooth. We will return to the hotel in
Kandy for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day-04: Kandy – Colombo International Airport

As your memorable tour concludes, departure logistics are tailored to your flight schedule. After a
post-breakfast check-out from the hotel if time permits, will be able to visit the world’s first Elephant
Orphanage and a sanctuary for rescued elephants with the largest herd of captive elephants in the
world. At Pinnawala you could engage yourself by tending to baby elephants and helping the
mahouts in their routines, before proceeding with a seamless transfer to the airport, marking the
culmination of your enriching journey.

also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was the last capital of ancient Sri Lanka and houses the
Sacred Temple of the Tooth. If your return flight is in the late afternoon or evening, we will be able to
visit the world’s first Elephant Orphanage and a sanctuary for rescued elephants. Each destination
unfolds Sri Lanka’s narrative, weaving history, spirituality, and natural beauty.
